Use the Pricing section to manage menu pricing by specific category, not limited to menu, time, size, and item pricing. The Pricing screen includes the following Tabs:
Style Pricing
Item Pricing
Individual Store Price Override
Time-Based Pricing
Modifier Pricing
Standard Modifier Pricing
Preferences Pricing
Editing Style Pricing
Use the Pricing section in Menu Editor to add Style Pricing to menu options. Follow the steps below to add style pricing in menu manager.
Steps:
From RM, click Manage > Menu Manager > Enter the Menu Editor.
Go to the Pricing > Style Pricing page.
From the screen, use the Group dropdown to select the group to edit.
From the Style Pricing screen, click on the field under the column labeled with the size description.
Click Save when finished.
Editing Item Pricing
Use the Pricing section in Menu Editor to add Item Pricing to the menu. Follow the steps below to add item pricing in menu manager.
Steps:
From RM, click Manage > Menu Manager > Enter the Menu Editor.
Go to the Pricing > Item Pricing page.
From the screen, use the Group dropdown to select the group to edit.
From the Item Pricing screen, locate the Item to edit a price for. Underneath the Price column for that Item, type or edit the dollar amount of the Item.
Select the other checkboxes on the Item Pricing screen as desired, including 2nd Item Pricing, Has Modifier Value, and No Discount.
Click Save when finished.
Overriding Item Pricing for Specific Store
If a specific store has a different price from the brand level default price for an item, you can override it.
Note: You can override the price points for styles, items, modifiers preference members, and time-based pricing. Here we show how to override the price for a menu item using the Store dropdown. Other pages have the same dropdown.
Steps:
From RM, click Manage > Menu Manager > Enter the Menu Editor.
Go to the Pricing > Item Pricing page.
From the screen, use the Group dropdown to select the group to edit.
Use the Store dropdown to select the specific store to override.
Enter the price points for that store to override the brand-level default price.
Note: When brand-level default prices change, they will not affect the store prices override.
Click Save when finished.
Using Time-Based Pricing
Time-based pricing allows an item to have different prices during special hours. For example, a Pizza restaurant may have Happy Hour prices. Follow the steps below to add Time Period and enter the price points for that time period in menu manager.
Steps:
From RM, click Manage > Menu Manager > Enter the Menu Editor.
Go to the Group > Configuration page. Enable Time Pricing for that Group.
Note: To use time pricing, such as Happy Hour pricing, Time Pricing Applies must be selected for that user's labor type in POS. In addition, the user must be clocked in as that labor type to use time pricing.
Go to the Pricing > Time-Based Pricing page. Enable Time Pricing.
Click Add Time Period, and then Add Time Period pop-up displays.
Type in the name, day of the week, start time, and end time of the Time Period.
Click Save when finished. The new Time Period displays on the summary table.
Click Item Time Pricing tab, and click Edit.
Enter the price points for the item for that time period. Click Save when finisheds
9. User can choose the applicable order types for Time-based Pricing. For example, if the "Happy Hour" is not applicable for Online Pickup orders, you can Applicable Order Types tab and uncheck to exclude that order type.
Editing Modifier Pricing
Use the Pricing section in Menu Editor to add Modifier Pricing to the menu. Follow the steps below to add modifier pricing in menu manager.
Steps:
From RM, click Manage > Menu Manager > Enter the Menu Editor.
Go to the Pricing > Modifier Pricing page.
From the screen, use the Group dropdown to select the group to edit.
From the Modifier Pricing screen, click on the box underneath the Price column that corresponds to the size. Type or edit the price for the modifier.
Click Save when finished.
Using Standard Modifier Pricing
Use the Pricing section in Menu Editor to add Item Pricing to the menu. Follow the steps below to add item pricing in menu manager.
Steps:
From RM, click Manage > Menu Manager > Enter the Menu Editor.
Go to the Group > Configuration page.
Enable the Standard Modifier Pricing for the group and click Save.
Go to the Pricing > Modifier Pricing page. It displays the Standard Modifier Pricing.
From the screen, use the Group dropdown to select the group to edit. Choose the range of the standard modifier and price points. Standard Modifier Pricing supports up to 15 modifiers.
Click Save when finished.
Editing Preferences Pricing
Use the Pricing section in Menu Editor to add Preferences Pricing to the menu. Follow the steps below to add preference member pricing in menu manager.
Steps:
From RM, click Manage > Menu Manager > Enter the Menu Editor.
Go to the Pricing > Preference Pricing page.
From the Preferences Pricing screen, underneath the Price column, type or edit the price of the item.
Click Save when finished.
