Configurations
Before you start sending messages, make sure your system is set up correctly. Inside HungerRush HUB, navigate to the left-hand panel and locate the 'Marketing - New' tab. If this page is missing, you will need to establish the designated user permissions noted below.
User Permissions
User access is controlled by role-based permissions. This means some users can only view the calendar, others can create/edit messages inside the calendar, and some can create coupons that are assigned to messages. Make sure your admin has assigned the right role based on your needs.
Why it Matters: Role-based permissions provide structured access control that aligns with your team's operational workflow. By customizing access based on roles—such as corporate marketing leads, store managers, or franchise owners—you protect sensitive campaign data, avoid accidental changes, and ensure only the right team members are creating, editing, or scheduling messages. This improves accountability, reduces the risk of miscommunication, and creates a consistent brand voice across locations.
To access the required permissions for Text Marketing:
Marketing Permissions
Log into hub, then from the left-hand panel access Manager -> Roles -> (Select New Role or Setting of current Role) -> Security -> Marketing
- Roles: Allow brands to setup their "Roles" with a: View, Edit, Add or Delete table. This will establish what the "Role" has access to for Text Marketing.
View: When this option is selected, the Role would be able to access the Text Marketing calendar as a viewer without the ability to create new messages or view the performance metrics of individual campaigns.
Edit: When this option is selected the Role would be able to access the Text Marketing calendar and edit any existing messaging but would not be able to add new campaigns
Add: When this option is selected the Role would be able to access the Text Marketing calendar and create new messaging
Delete: When this option is selected the Role would be able to access the Text Marketing calendar and remove any campaign that has been scheduled. By selecting “Delete” all other permissions will automatically be applied.
No Selection: When no selection is made the Role would not be able to view the SMS Marketing calendar
- Users: Since each user is setup with a specific role, they would be only able to complete the action designated to that role
Stores: Each individual user can be assigned Stores, once those stores are established that specific user would have access to create Text Marketing campaigns for only those designated stores.
- Billing Responsibility: This is a specific permission only designated for users who will control brand level sending. If you are an admin of your brand and do not see the following security please contact support.
Coupon Permissions
Log into hub, then from the left-hand panel access Manager -> Roles -> (Select New Role or Setting of current Role) -> Security -> Coupons
- Roles: This will establish what the "Role" has access to for Text Marketing in terms of coupon creation or access to existing coupons.
Brand Offer: Access to Brand Offer selection inside the coupon, which grants permission to only designated users.
Coupons: Access to coupon creation
Coupons-Online Seq: Access to coupon adjustment on the online ordering site
Multiple Stores: Access to pushing a single coupon to multiple stores
