Report Purpose:

The Sales by Employee Report breaks down sales activity by staff member, showing performance across menu categories. It highlights each employee’s total sales, category mix, ticket counts, and averages, helping operators evaluate productivity, upselling, and sales contribution at the individual level.

Metric Definitions:

Category = The menu category of items sold by the employee (e.g., Pizza, Subs, Wings, Beverages).

Net Sales = The dollar value of sales in that category attributed to the employee after discounts.

Net % = The percentage of the employee’s total sales represented by that category.

Store Net Sales = The total net sales for the store during the reporting period.

Ticket Count = The number of orders handled by the employee.

Head Count = The number of customers served across those orders.

Average Ticket = Average dollar amount per order processed by the employee.

PPA (Per Person Average) = Average sales per customer served.

Total Net Sales = The employee’s total net sales across all categories.
