The Sales by Hour Report shows how sales and labor performance vary throughout the day, broken down by each hour. It helps operators identify peak and slow periods, align labor scheduling with demand, and optimize profitability by tracking both sales and labor costs in relation to sales activity.

Metric Definitions:
Hour = The hour of the day (24-hour format) during which sales and labor activity occurred.
Order Count = Total number of orders placed during that hour.
Order % = Percentage of the day’s total orders that occurred during that hour.
Net Sales = Total sales dollars after discounts, adjustments, and tax for that hour.
Net % = The percentage of the day’s net sales represented by that hour.
Adjustments & Coupons = Total value of discounts and coupon redemptions applied during that hour.
Tax = Sales tax collected during that hour.
Gross Sales = Total sales after discounts and adjustments but including tax.
$/Chk = Average dollar amount per check (order) for that hour.
Labor Hrs = Total number of labor hours scheduled/used during that hour.
Labor $ = Total labor cost in dollars for that hour.
$/Hr = Net sales per labor hour, representing hourly labor productivity.
