Preview: Edit the POS Button Color, Image and Position

Using the Preview screen, you can

• Preview Menu
• Changing the POS Button Color
• Changing the POS Button Position and Size
• Changing the POS Button Image

Preview Menu

When you first open the Menu Editor, the Preview screen will be the default screen. You may also access Preview from any other screen by clicking the “POS Preview” in the left navigation bar.

Steps:

1. From RM, click Manage > Menu Manager and click the pencil icon to enter Menu Editor. The Menu Editor screen then displays.

2. From the Menu Editor, click the “POS Preview” page. The Preview screen then displays.

Changing the POS Button Color

Steps:

1. From the Preview screen, click the Edit button. Then hover over a button, then you will see the change color icon (pencil icon) and change sequence icon (6-dot icon).

2. To change the color, click the two arrows icon to edit the Button Position.

3. Click the color rectangle and choose the new color or enter the color hex code. Then click Save. Note: The button color of Size and Style cannot be changed.

Changing the POS Button Position and Size

Steps:

1. From the Preview screen, hover over a button, then you will see the change color icon (pencil icon) and change sequence icon (6-dot icon).

2. To change the position, click the 6-dot icon to edit the Button Sequence.

3. Drag and drop the button to change its position.

4. You can change the position of Group, Size, Style, Item, and Modifiers. For Items and Modifier buttons, you can drag the bottom right corner to change the Button Size.

5. For Items and Modifier buttons, you can use the new sidebar on the right to organize the buttons.

Note: 

• Undo: Reverse the last move action.

• Redo: Redo the move action. 

• Reset: We support stores to set up a different layout from the brand’s default layout. Click this button to remove the store layout and reset to the brand layout.

• Auto Layout: Click this button to clean up the button layout by removing the blank spaces. 

6. When you hover over the Item/Modifier tab, it will show a Sort button. Click this button to sort by the Button Name Ascending (A->Z), click again to sort by Button Name Descending (Z->A), and click again to restore the previous unsorted sequence.

Changing the POS Button Image

Steps:

1. From the Preview screen, click the Edit button. Then hover over a button, then you will see the change color icon (pencil icon) and change sequence icon (6-dot icon).

2. To change the position, click the 6-dot icon to edit the Button Sequence.

3. Choose “Stock Image” tab to use an image from the library. You can search using the keyword and choose the image from the image library.

4. Choose “Upload an Image” tab and upload your own image. You can crop the image and then choose the background color if the image is transparent.

5. You can choose Show Button Text if you want to apply the item name on the button and choose the text color. Then click Save.
