Day Parts are primarily for reporting purposes for business that want to keep an efficient and accurate track of Sales and Labor at specified parts of the business day.

          For Example: Lunch vs Dinner Sales.

You can customize what times you want your Day Parts to be at to start calculating any Sales and Labor for the times that are set in that timeframe by doing the steps below:

Navigate to Config > System

 Go to Report Cats/ Day Parts at the top right of the screen.

Go to the “Day Parts” tab.

In the “Day Part Name” section, name the Day Part that you want to put for reporting purposes.

Set the “Start Time” and “Stop Time” that your set Day Part’s timeframe should be. 

Click “Save” and your Day Part is now created.

The Daily Ops Report in the POS is the report to look at the Day Part Sales with Labor calculated during the specified reporting period.

In HUB, there are additional reports such as the Day Part Sales by Cat and Store Performance for example to show Day Part Sales.
