Step by Step Instructions

This guide will show the procedure for converting inventory unit conversion rules. For example it can be used to break down a single large unit into multiple single use units (1 Foot = 12 inches, 1 cup = 8 ounces …)

Login to the POS using your code/fingerprint. 

Go to Mgmt.

Then select Inventory.

Select Units at the top left.

Go To Conversions and click Add

Go to “From”; select your Unit (Create a Unit using the left list under Units) for this example we selected Inches)

Go to “To”; select your Unit (Create a Unit using the left list under Units)as part of the example we selected Foot)

Go to “Factor”; select your amount we selected 12 (12 Inches in a foot) then Select “Add” when done)

Conversion Rate is now displaying.

Select Exit top Right of screen > Select yes to save changes.

It will exit you to Mgmt Screen select Inventory again to ensure the conversion rate saved.

Select Units and you should be able to see your new Conversion Rate.
