How to activate Uber Direct through HungerRush

Uber Direct allows your restaurant to offer delivery through Uber’s driver network, fully integrated with your HungerRush POS. The HungerRush Onboarding Team will handle most of the setup for you. You only need to complete a few quick steps to activate the service.

Step 1: Sign up through the signup page.

Use the provided link to sign up and agree to the Terms and Conditions, including those from Uber.

This form collects your business information, including:

• Restaurant name
• Business address
• Contact email (must match Uber billing email)

Step 2: HungerRush Configuration & Set Up Billing with Uber Direct

Please note that once complete, Uber Direct will send you a request to share your location ID(s) with HungerRush.

1. Once HungerRush completes the setup, Uber Direct will send you an email to set up billing.
2. Click the link in the email and follow Uber’s instructions to add a payment method.
   • Credit Card Option: Charges are processed daily for the previous day's deliveries.
   • Invoice Option: Billed monthly (requires a credit check).

⚠️ Important: Your Uber Direct integration will not work until billing is set up.

 

Step 3: Wait for Confirmation from Uber Direct

Once the location is complete, Uber Direct will send instructions to HungerRush. We'll configure your location for you.

1. Once billing is complete, Uber Direct will finalize your account setup.
2. You will receive an email confirming that your account is ready to start processing deliveries.

Step 4: Start Using Uber Direct in HungerRush

After your location is set up, you can start using Uber Direct services directly within your HungerRush POS.
Once you receive confirmation from Uber Direct, your HungerRush system will be ready. You can now:

• Request Uber Direct drivers for delivery orders.
• Track delivery status in your HungerRush POS.
• Ensure all payments are processed correctly through your Uber Direct billing.
• Uber Direct Delivery Fees

Uber Direct charges per delivery based on distance:

• 0-3 miles: $6.25 per delivery
• 3-5 miles: $6.99 per delivery
• 5-10 miles: $10.00 per delivery
• California deliveries: Add $2.00 to all rates

How to activate DoorDash Drive through HungerRush

DoorDash Drive allows your restaurant to send delivery orders to DoorDash drivers directly through your HungerRush POS. The HungerRush Onboarding Team will handle most of the setup for you. You only need to complete a few quick steps to activate the service.

 

Step 1: Sign up with DoorDash

Use the provided link to sign up directly with DoorDash and agree to their Terms. DoorDash will then contact you directly about next steps.

To get started, fill out the DoorDash Drive setup form provided by HungerRush. This form collects your business details, including:

• • Restaurant name
  • Business address
  • HungerRush account number(s)

⚠️ Important:

• If you have multiple locations and want them billed together, submit one form listing all account numbers.
• If each location needs separate billing, submit one form per location.

Once submitted, the HungerRush Onboarding Team will begin the setup process.

 

Step 2: Wait for Confirmation from DoorDash

After your form is submitted, DoorDash will process your request and confirm your setup.

You will receive an email from DoorDash once your account is linked and ready for use.

Note: If you already have a DoorDash account, you still need to complete this process to integrate with DoorDash Drive (this is different from the standard DoorDash Marketplace).

 

Step 3: HungerRush Onboarding Completes the Setup

Once DoorDash confirms your account, the HungerRush Onboarding Team will:

✅ Configure your POS to enable DoorDash Drive.

✅ Ensure the correct business name is linked to your DoorDash Drive account.

✅ Set up your preferred dispatch method:

 

Once setup is complete, you’ll be ready to start sending delivery orders to DoorDash drivers!
